          AIM Trip

Thirteen students from Years 10 and 11 took part in a highly stimulating, thought-provoking and rewarding day of academic lectures and debates, led by some of Oxford University's most prominent professors. Topics of discussion included: Epistemology - Knowing What You Know; Shakespeare - Humors and Appetites; Science and The Secret of Happiness and Plato - Philosophy, Love and Relationships. The day concluded with an inter-school debate on the motion: 'What is more important, a healthy mind or a healthy body?' One of our students was in fact the first to offer her opinions and open up the debate floor!

All of our students were a credit to the school and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to 'think hard' all day long!
